District Description: Elko County School District is located in northeastern Nevada and covers 17,000 square miles and is the only school district in Elko County. There are 17 schools with an approximate attendance of 10,000 students. ECSD continually strives to maintain acclimate in which all students can learn at high levels in all schools. The District has employer paid retirement at 100%, salary credit for contracted licensed experience (5-10 years); sick leave of 15 days annually and 4 personal days annually. Employer paid medical, dental, and vision; no state income tax and a $2,000 signing bonus.
